Assessment Information

Property assessments are made by a municipality’s assessor and are determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to: sale price, improvements, property classification, property location, and property use. The county Real Property Lister keeps record of all assessments within the county, but has no involvement in the determination of assessed value.

Assessment information for properties in Ashland County can be found online in the Land Records Search portal, the Ashland County GIS Website, or by calling our office.

If you wish to appeal your property’s assessment, please call the Assessor for the municipality the parcel is located in. Click the PDF below for a list of assessors by municipality.
